Description

Rustshield C is a high-performance, water-based coating engineered to convert existing rust while simultaneously inhibiting the formation of new corrosion in a single application. This environmentally responsible formulation is non-toxic and low odour, making it suitable for use across a wide range of environments. With fast drying characteristics and excellent adhesion properties, Rustshield C forms a durable, long-lasting protective barrier. Specifically developed for ease of application, the coating delivers reliable and robust corrosion protection for treated surfaces.

APPLICATION GUIDE

-Remove all loose rust and scale using mechanical methods (e.g., wire brushing or abrasive sanding).

-Ensure surfaces are clean and free from grease, oil, dirt, and other contaminants using appropriate industrial cleaning agents.

-Abrade new or high-gloss surfaces to promote proper adhesion.

-Confirm the substrate is completely dry prior to application.

-Do not apply to zinc-plated or galvanized surfaces unless adequately weathered and properly prepared.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT

-Suitable for airless spray, brush, or roller application.

-Airless spray: 519-523 tip recommended (smaller tip for detailed areas).

-Operating pressure: 2200-2600 psi.

-Coverage (spray): approx. 6 m2 per litre.

-Coverage (brush/roller): 6-8 m2 per litre.d
